Determining the best PATH of a leader!

It is never enough to simply be elected or occupy a leadership position! Rather, a true leader, assumes a high degree of personal responsibility and perceives things, as they should be, without limiting the possibilities! After more than 4 decades of personal involvement, in almost all areas of leadership, from identifying and qualifying candidates, training them properly, evaluating the best people (the most suitable to lead), consulting thousands of real and potential leaders. and serving, as a leader, I have come to believe, firmly, that one of the key ingredients and considerations must be, how someone determines, the best ROAD, chase and carry on. With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is important.

1. Priorities; searches; planning; process; stages: How can someone lead, in a meaningful and relevant way, unless / until it is based on true priorities? A quality leader must pursue the best process to achieve the desired goals! To do so requires quality planning, based on professionally designed leadership training, and the patience and discipline to proceed, in phases, etc., rather than feeling overwhelmed. Perhaps one of the lessons, often overlooked, should be to understand this. How do you eat the elephant? One bite at a time!

two. Attitude; fitness; attention; action plan; articulate: True leaders must consistently possess a positive can-do attitude, focused on ways of doing things, rather than why they can’t be done. A true training program, it trains potential people, with the most desirable skills and abilities, needed! Four. Cicatrization; heart head; human; hear: Listen to what others tell you and listen effectively to continue, with genuine empathy! A real leader must seek to enhance healing, rather than causing further division and polarization! One must be ready and able to balance his emotional and logical components, in a balance between the head and the heart! Judge whether one is fit to lead, based on whether his mindset and actions are truly human.
